Family Concert with Sunshine Music Together

Sunshine Music Together is the eight-time Golden Teddy Award Winner for Best Music Program in Seattle! Accolades aside, the curriculum at Sunshine Music Together is the real gem. Parents are encouraged to sing, dance and act silly right alongside their child. Why? Because children learn to love making music directly from watching you participate with enjoyment!

Sunshine Music Together helps you to relax, shed inhibitions and enjoy bonding musically with your child. It is an innovative, internationally recognized, researched-based music and movement program for children ages newborn to five years and their parents and caregivers – now also offering Rhythm Kids classes for children aged 5 – 8 years!

Our mission is to make the world a better place by making it more musical! To do this, we bring the highest quality musical and movement curriculum to children and adults everywhere. We engage and encourage the class community in experiences that support making music each day in a natural, authentic and joy-filled way! The 45-minute classes include songs, rhythmic rhymes, movement, and instrument play –pure fun with your child every week!

Auntie Lena and Possum, of Look, Listen and Learn

Look, Listen and Learn produces children’s television to bridge the achievement gap in Washington so that BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color) kids enter school ready to learn and succeed. Featuring local children and teachers at learning venues across King County, Look, Listen and Learn applies brain development knowledge to foster learning and enhance caregiver relationships.

The Big Brained Superhero's Club

The Big-Brained Superheroes Club, an after-school program at Yesler Community Center in Seattle, WA, encourages Big Brains to build valuable skills in essential fields including Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM). Through the visualization and creation of their own works of art and science, Big Brains learn how to consider both how and why the world works and how to make it better. Combined with Real-Life Superpowers like Teamwork, Leadership and Kindness, Big Brains become mighty forces for good in their community and in the world!

Día de Muertos Committee

Barbara Rodriguez-Gonzalez - Originally from Mexico City, has been a resident of the Seattle area for the last 26 years. Proud mother of Emiliano and Citlalli. Passionate about all the artistic expressions that represent her Mexican Culture.

She’s the Founder/Producer of Corazón•Arte•Cultura, a radio/social media platform, former Board President of Para Los Niños Non-Profit, Former Secretary of MNW Non-Profit, Board member of Seattle Escribe, and currently the Artistic Director for Día de Muertos Festival Seattle.

Huaxing Youth Performing Arts Center

Huaxing Youth Performing Arts Center is an affiliate of Huayin Performing Arts Group - a non-profit organization dedicated to the education and development of Chinese traditional and modern performing arts. Not only do we provide multi-dimensional dance training to youth, we are also committed to fostering a learning-oriented cultural environment and promoting cultural diversity to the young generation. Established in 2004, Huaxing has since partnered with various schools, businesses and organizations, and participated in many cultural performances every year.

Momentum Irish Dancers

Momentum Music and Dance Academy has been fostering creativity, self-esteem, and a passion for the arts since 2003! Momentum Irish Dancers is a non competitive Irish dance school located in the Burien area. We teach both soft shoe and hard shoe Irish dancing and perform all over the city-especially during St. Patrick's Day weekend.

Learn Capoeira with International Capoeira Angola Foundation

The International Capoeira Angola Foundation was founded in 1997 by Mestre Jurandir. When he moved back to Seattle, Mestre Silvinho took over leadership of our group in 2004. Our organization is dedicated to the preservation and sharing of this Afro-Brazilian martial art. Capoeira includes movement, music, singing, history, and philosophy through a body dialogue or questions and answers.

Pimana Thichalad of Siam Smile

Pimana Thichalad has a Bachelor's Degree in Thai Classical Dance, and a Master's Degree in Non-Formal Education.

The origin of Selemao Dance (pronounced: se-le-mao) started more than one-hundred years ago in Shan State - a favorite to the Palace of Ruler of Chiang Mai in the northern part of Thailand.

The Vassal Prince's Princess Daughter rearranged the figure of this dance before it was taken by the Master of Thai Classical Dance to teach the dance students at the Dance Institute in Bangkok.

Pimana learned this dance when she was nine years old, and she taught her college students when she was a lecturer at a university in the northern region of Thailand - Chiang Mai.

Oishii Cooking

Oishii cooking is a group of cooking/baking siblings based in Seattle. Mika, the lead chef, taught a baking class with sous chef Aki during the summer of 2020. Kai taught specialty classes like how to make Ramen and Yakisoba.

Northwest Tap Connection

Northwest Tap Connection is a distinctive urban dance studio specializing in Rhythm Tap. The studio's philosophy is that dance enriches the lives of the students, while developing self-discipline, instilling self-confidence, and encouraging achievement and goal setting.

Mexican Folklorico with Joyas Mestizas

Joyas Mestizas is a non-profit youth folkloric dance group that preserves the rich cultural heritage and diversity of Mexico. Founded in 1988, Joyas works with youth, teaching traditional dances from across Mexico. It is our mission to preserve a connection to Mexican culture in children in the Pacific Northwest through traditional dance, music, and regional costuming
