The Cypher, is a free event to honor Hip-hop as an American art form and expression of folk. You will experience music, rotating emcees, a DJ, a breakdance crew, local vendors, food trucks, and hands-on activities suitable for all ages.
Bask in the philosophies, practices, and history of Hip Hop culture at Pritchard Island Beach Park , a historically Black community and home to a rich legacy of Black traditions. The cypher is deeply rooted in hip-hop culture. It traces back to African oral and cultural practices emphasizing communication, knowledge, and truth, making this event a unique celebration of hip-hop and folk traditions.

EyE_AM Music- EyE_AM music's reputation proceeds itself. Her rhymes mixed with her charisma and stage presence make her a force to be reckoned with. She is a respected MC, that has garnered buzz not only on the Seattle music scene but nationally. Over the years she has honed her talents not only as a MC, but also as a musician. She has been a featured performer at Mo'Jam Mondays at Nectar Lounge and the Women in Blues series at The Royal Room. EyE-_AM Music puts her heart and soul into each verse that is crafted. She loves sharing her passion with her fans and fellow music enthusiasts.
AudioPoet- Born and raised in Seattle, AudioPoet has pushed the envelop of vocal percussion, singing and emceeing, to craft a style that’s all his own. His dedication to beatboxing and story-telling through Hiphop music, comfortably settles him into the community as recognized name amongst his peers of giants. You can listen to AudioPoet’s catalog of music online, including his debut solo LP “Missteps to Destiny” on all streaming platforms.
