Hart Strings and Lace

Saturday May 27th, 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Guitar string jewelry and healing orbs, using recycled guitar strings and natural, semiprecious stones: I began recycling the used strings from my guitar, by making jewelry. Simple pieces, at first... plain rings and bracelets... but, as I entered a new phase in my life, I developed an interest in the healing power of natural gemstones and crystals. I began to incorporate these stones and crystals into my jewelry pieces. I find making guitar string jewelry, using natural stones, to be peaceful meditation. I am constantly coming up with new designs, including the popular healing orbs and solar system series. Rarely, do I make the same design twice, making the piece you choose unique to you.
