Big Jewish Show featuring Brivele, Bellows and Squawk, Orkestyr Farfeleh, Kesselgarden, and Shpilkis

Harvey seated in a red shirt holding an accordion, Marianne standing behind him wearing a grey cardigan and holding a clarinet.

Orkestyr Farfeleh

Marianne Tatom, clarinetist and Yiddish teacher, and Harvey Niebulski, accordionist, play klezmer and Eastern European music and sing in Yiddish (a living Jewish language written in Hebrew characters originating in Eastern Europe). Together we’ve played numerous concerts, festivals, sing-alongs and participatory Israeli dances. We've also led klezmer workshops and especially enjoy singing and teaching songs in Yiddish (with lyrics offered both in transliteration and translation) while welcoming queries from our audiences and offering opportunities for discussion as we together learn about their Jewish cultural context.
