Northwest Folklife (NWFL) and Daybreak Star Radio partnered up during the 2025 NWFL Festival to program a selection of artists at the KEXP Gathering Space Stage for an interview and a short performance.
Here, we feature Wasabi Samba. Hailing from the Pacific Northwest out of Seattle’s Georgetown neighborhood, they draw on a number of styles from latin music, jazz, bouncing bossa nova, r&b and more crafting a sound that is uniquely their own.
