We updated sign-in in 2026. Use the same email address you used before.
You can log in with your password, request an email sign-in link, or use Google (if that email is linked to your account). New accounts can sign up with email or Google. Forgot your password? Use Forgot password? on the log-in page.
If you don’t receive an email within 24 hours, check your spam folder, then contact us through the support link in the application site.
If you have applied since 2024, click returning applicants.
If you have never applied, or haven’t applied since before 2024, click new applicants.

Welcome back! To apply to the 2027 Folklife festival, log in to your account.

Once you have logged in, click the Apply button:
If you are applying as the same artist or group as last year, select your artist and continue. If you want to apply as a different artist, click the + button to create a new artist profile:
Then select which type of application you would like to create, and click Start Application:
NOTE: If you are applying as the same artist as last year, most of your information from last year will be carried over. Review everything and make any updates.
I have never applied, or haven’t applied since before 2024
Before you can apply to the 2027 Folklife festival, sign up for an account in our application system.
Enter your artist name, select your category, and fill out your contact information. Choose Continue with email or Continue with Google, select which type of application you would like to create, and complete sign-up:
If you sign up with email, you’ll receive a confirmation email with next steps and a link to your application. If you use Google, you’ll go straight into the application after sign-up.
You can complete your whole application in one go, or save your progress and return later from My Folklife.
