Northwest Folklife supports the community arts of the Pacific Northwest. If you are interested in performing at the next Northwest Folklife Festival, please click here. We accept performer applications from artists in the Northwest (Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Alaska, and British Columbia). Because we are a free festival, we do not have the revenue to pay performers.
The annual Northwest Folklife Festival is a great way to showcase your music, dance, storytelling, poetry or art to the crowds that descend on Seattle Center. The Festival is also a wonderful way to connect to local communities. Artists often present workshops, panels, singalongs or bring their art to the street as buskers (street performers). If you are interested in leading a participatory event (workshop, etc), please fill out a separate application for this with the rest of your performer application. If you are interested in street performing, please see our guidelines.
If you have questions, you can call the performer hotline (206-684-4189) or email programming.
