Northwest Folklife is proud to announce that the Community Showcases that have made this Festival so unique have not only returned, but have actually expanded! We are now working with 60 community coordinators to present over 75 Community Showcases. These coordinators work with Northwest Folklife Programming to present their communities the way they wish to be seen. This provides the most authentic and engaging shows possible and introduces you to the amazingly diverse communities of the Pacific Northwest.

At left, you’ll find info on showcases that feature Portland pirates, Cambodian musicians, amazing bellydancers, raucous old-time bands, Hawaiian hula masters, legendary fiddlers and many, many more. Explore the Northwest and learn about your friends and neighbors!
