Northwest Folklife is proud to present a special showcase of Latin American traditional music. Fofinho, Samia & Dinnen features the beautiful singing of Samia Panni, Juan Medrano Cotito was Afro-Peruvian superstar Susana Baca’s cajonero and is a powerful percussionist, Seattle favorites Correo Aereo play music from across Latin America, and Quichua Machis are well-known for their captivating street performances at Folklife that feature musicians traveling up to Seattle from the Andes.
