Notes on Performer Applications
The Northwest Folklife Festival focuses on the traditional arts of the native and ethnic communities of the Northwest: Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Alaska, Montana, and British Columbia. General applications are not accepted from other parts of the country except for special programs related to specific Festival themes. Being a free community festival, we do not offer performer fees.

International Performers
Each year we host a limited number of international performers. If you are interested in participating in the Festival and your proposed tour will be in the Northwest at the end of May, please get in touch with us to discuss the possibilities.
