The Northwest Folklife Festival
focuses on the traditional arts
of the native and ethnic communities
of the Northwest: Oregon, Washington,
Idaho, Alaska, Montana, and
British Columbia. General applications
are not accepted from other
parts of the country except
for special programs related
to specific Festival themes.
Being a free community festival,
we do not offer performer fees.
International
Performers
Each year we host a limited
number of international performers.
If you are interested in participating
in the Festival and your proposed
tour will be in the Northwest
at the end of May, please get
